Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park

Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park is situated on the southern coast of Kenya near Shimoni and south of Wasini Island in Kwale District near the Tanzania border.

This is a home of the Dolphin, coconut crab; the marine park is located on the coast, 40km from Ukunda town in Msambeni district of coast province. The ecosystem also covers a marine area with four small islands surrounded by coral reefs. Kisite Island is covered in low grass and herbs while Mpunguti Islands have dense coastal equatorial forest.

The sea grasses cover a large area of the sub littoral zone of the reef. The major attractions in Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park include; the Dolphins, coral gardens, diving and bird watching. The beautiful sandy beach is good for environmental friendly recreational activities.
