Sipi River Lodge
Sipi River lodge is strategically situated in the outskirts of Sipi trading center along the Kapchorwa road.
The lodge has a wide range of cottages where comfortable accommodation can be offered to various categories of visitors.
Kapsurur and Aniet Cottage; These are private, spacious and elegant in design offering up market setting with en suite ablutions twin beds, veranda and lounge.
The term ‘Lacam’ literally means “cliff” in the native Sabiny language. The lodge is situated just a few kilometers away from the Mount Elgon National Park, about 5 hours northeast of Uganda’s capital Kampala, Lacam Lodge offers stunning views of the Sipi waterfalls – one of Uganda’s most gorgeous and beautiful falls.
Lacam Lodge is perched amidst attractive green grounds, in the foothills of Mount Elgon overlooking one of Uganda’s soft spoken though a beautiful waterfall.
Guests are accommodated in comfortable thatched bandas with private facilities and stunning views of Sipi Falls and the Karamajong undulating plains.
Homely log cabins constructed out of local timber and grass thatch harvested locally from the plains.
The beds are raised, so that residents can lie down and soak up the view.
Spacious and self-contained bandas each with 2 double beds and large verandas.
The 3 rooms are available for travellers on a tighter budget, all with shared facilities.
Camping terraces are available at the cliff edge. Simply bring your tent and pitch on one of Lacam Lodge’s terraces.

The Crown’s Nest Camp Site
The Crown’s Nest is perched high at an altitude of 2,000m along the Elgon slopes. The place offers stunning views of the three water falls in this region.
The camp is as well properly positioned for easy exploration of the depth of the Sipi Falls, the bat caves as well as the traditional homesteads to discover the Sabiny culture. Crow’s nest is perfectly located to access the Mount Elgon National Park.
Kitchen and Dining: the Kitchen is headed by chefs who prepare daily menu of 3 healthy well-balanced meals each day, all composed of fresh produce where need be.
The camps are regularly supplied with fresh drinking water.
Toilets and Showers: you will find flush toilets plus showers at the camp.
Laundry: there is frequent supply of Water for washing clothes.
