Kigali city Uniqueness
Kigali city has been the economic, cultural and transport hub of Rwanda since it became the capital at independence in 1962. This city is developing fast and is very much a show piece capital designed to impress the safari visitors; from the humble tourists, to foreign investors and visiting dignitaries. A combination of Belgium culinary influence, plenty of cows, fresh water fish, and fresh vegetables equates to some of the best culinary experiences in the region. The local markets are also stoked with Rwandan hand crafts, clothing, and fabulous colorful fabric from West Africa and just about anything else. The large market in Kimironko is also a good place for the fruits, vegetables, rice and other basic foodstuffs. All these have greatly attracted many tourists to come for safaris to Rwanda.
