5 Days Uganda Wildlife tour and cultural safari.
Day 1: Cultural tour in Kampala city
After morning breakfast at the lodge, we shall pick you up from the hotel, and proceed on a cultural tour within Kampala city – exploring the historical features of this amazing town; ranging from historical to the more recent monuments, the cuisine and the hospitality of the native Baganda people will make you feel at home.

– The “Bulange” Mengo (the seat for Buganda Kingdom’s mighty parliament)
– The Uganda National Museum
– The Bahai Temple
– The African craft village & various cultural and historical monuments which are of national and international importance

Day 2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
After your breakfast at your place of residence in Kampala, you will embark on the trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the south west part of Uganda, a journey of 417km about 7 hours’ drive. You will traverse through the unequalled remote landscapes in the south west including the semi-arid rangelands of Ankole with short extended savannah. The first stop will be made at Kayabwe, at the Uganda Equator crossing for amazing photo shots and a local water experiment that proves the earth split-up into two halves, the north and south spheres and later stop for a hearty lunch with a cultural touch in the fascinating western city of Mbarara, at Igongo cultural centre.
Proceed through the undulating sceneries of Bunyaruguru crater and the magical Lake Nyabihoko which is beautifully curved in the shape of the map of Africa; arrive at your lodge late in the afternoon for relaxation and overnight.

Day 3: Game drive, Community walks around Lake George and Boat cruise along Kazinga in the afternoon
After a splendid morning cup of coffee at your hotel, embark on the drive across the undulating rolling savannah rangelands of Queen Elizabeth in search of wild game. The stretch to the Kasenyi plains, the renown mating ground offers you a lifetime opportunity of encounter numerous families of wild game in a single glance including elephants, buffaloes, water bucks and Kobs along with predators like lions, leopards and jackals. The game drive takes 3 – 4 hours and you retreat back to the lodge.
After the game drive, visit Hamukungu landing site on the shores of Lake George to experience the local touch, having a very memorable encounter with the local people the entire mid-morning before proceeding to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you continue to Mweya jetty to catch up with a boat trip at exactly 4pm. The 2 hour boat cruise offers a chance to explore the 45km long Kazinga Channel which links the twin lakes – George and Edward, the channel is known to be the capital of Hippos and Nile crocodiles. Its banks are usually fully stocked with a variety of wild game like elephants and buffaloes which can be seen along quenching their thirst from the Kazinga waters on a hot day. Retreat from the activity and do the game drive along the channel track as you proceed to the lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, for sightseeing and canoeing.
After a relaxed breakfast, you will undertake a journey to Lake Bunyonyi, spending the entire day at Uganda’s deepest lake. You explore the attractive landscapes of the lake and impressive relief of Kigezi region, dubbed the “Switzerland of Africa”. Reach out to some of its 29 Virgin Islands amidst the pleasantly undulating hills of Kigezi. This 3 – 4hr canoe experience is a rewarding adventure worth exploring. You return to the lodge and spend the rest of the day relaxed, enjoying dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala / Entebbe. Departure
After a warm cup of tea, undertake the journey of 537 km back to Kampala, about 7 hours’ drive. The drive is quite long though impressive as you traverse the country side sceneries scattered with rural homesteads, cattle farms and extensive banana plantations. The en route small towns bustling with all kinds of local trade and informal businesses that will occupy your journey back to Kampala. Later you will have a lunch stop at Igongo Cultural Center.
Pass via the equator for memorable photos and arrive in Kampala in the evening for overnight / night departure.
