Day 1: Arrival
At the airport, our company guide will meet you and then transfer you to Motsentsela tree lodge. You will relax at the lodge and also take one of the three marked walking trails in search of the birds and animal species present on the farm.

Day 2: Flight to Camp Moremi.
You will enjoy the leisure in the morning; you will relax at the pool or take a walk. Later in the afternoon, you will be dropped off at the local coffee shop next to the airport for your lunch before your charter flight to Camp Moremi. The reserve also supports the most diverse habitant and the animal populations in Botswana, with possible sightings of the wild dog, cheetah, lion and the leopards. The time at the camp is spent in open game drive vehicles, looking out for the many animal and bird species that make the reserve famous.

Day 3: Game drive
After your breakfast, you will have a game drive where you will view many animals like, the lions that keep us awake the previous night. You will return to the lodge at mid-morning, ravenous and anxious to sit in the Boma discussing the sightings while you feast on a huge breakfast and lunch combined. You will spend the lazy hours, resting by the pool soaking up the African sun. The camp is peaceful. It also provides us with the opportunity to make up for those hours you will spend in the beds listening to the night sounds of Moremi. The tea is also normally around 3pm, and you will set off game driving shortly after. You will also view many animals including; the hyenas and the leopards which are found in the area.

Day 4: Boat cruise transfer to Xugana
You will leave the camp in the morning for a boat cruise transfer to Xugana. The journey also takes approximately 3 hours as you wind the way through the crystal clear waterways of the Okavango. Along the way, you will see lots of wildlife, view the shy red lechwes graze nervously on a floodplain and leap away as we pass. The bird life is plentiful. The fish eagle perches on a tree and other species which include the kingfishers, cormorants and a large saddle billed stork. Just before you leave the main channel, you will stop to watch a 5 meter crocodile lying among the tall papyrus. After settling in and a short siesta at the pool, you will head out yet another exciting after noon in African bush.

Day 5: Game drive
You will also take a 35 minutes flight to Savuti. Its dominated by the now dry savuti marsh, a sweeping expanse of savannah looked over by seven rocky outcrops. These guard the relic marsh and channel that was once its lifeline. You will explore the area in 4×4 game drive vehicles. The area is also famed for its bull elephant and lion populations. Game driving is generally fantastic. You will also have a chance to experience the zebra migration it will be sight to remember forever.

Day 6: Exploration
Again you will depart early and start exploring some of the numerous waterholes which are dotted around the savuti marsh. You will soon get to see why this area is so famous for its numerous bull elephants; which also monopolize these waterholes. The guide will also take you around the mars and show you the Bushman paintings. These point to the ancient livelihoods of those who used to live in the area. Also back on the marsh, changes are good to see the savute lions which are the supreme predators of the area. Then you will also have a chance to view the zebra migrations. These periodically take place on the marsh, and are sights to behold. Immediately after a busy day’s game viewing, you will return to our tented camp for dinner and to reflect on the awesome splendor that is savuti.

Day 7: Flight to Kasane and transfer into the park
From Savuti you will take a 40 minutes flight to Kasane. There, a representative from Chobe game lodge will meet you for the short transfer into the park. The lodge is set on the banks of the Chobe River overlooking the flood plains of the Caprivi Strip in Namibia. The Chobe national park is famous for its huge elephant herds- the highest concentrations anywhere in the world. The days are spent game driving by the vehicle and by boat on the Chobe River. The Chobe is also unique, affording us sights unparalleled in this day and the age.

Day 8: Wildlife view
Then another day in the elephant country. The herds also migrate south to north and congregate along the fertile flood plains of perennial Chobe River. The other major species like the lion, wild dog, sable and the roan antelope are also encountered in many areas of the reserve. You will have plentiful opportunities to watch the game on a game drive or from the river barge on the Chobe.

Day 9: Departure
Immediately after your breakfast, you will leave for Kasane airport for onward flight for your departure; marking the end of your 9 Days Botswana Mixed Safari
