Uganda, Number One Tourist Destination

Uganda has always been a unique tourist destination known as the pearl of Africa. This country is also full of ordinary safari destinations with a wonderful economy, fully packed national parks with wonderful wildlife species, water bodies, mountains, cultural sites and many more. Gorilla trekking has been the main tourism product which has been marketed by Uganda tourism board and it has attracted many tourists to come for gorilla trekking safaris.

The unique Nile crocodile along the Nile, there is also fishing around the many water bodies found within the country, grazing and also the many game drives which are carried out within the parks and the safari tourists get chance to view many wildlife animals including the mountain gorillas commonly found in Bwindi impenetrable National park, the chimps found in Kibale National park, lions, elephants, buffalos, crocodiles, hippos, kobs, antelopes, monkeys and many bird species. These have greatly attracted many people to come for safaris to Uganda.

Uganda’s culture is so unique in that many outsiders have traveled to Uganda to enjoy the safaris as they visit the cultural sites; some of these also include; Wamala tombs which is also a burial place for the Kings, Kasubi tombs which is also a burial place for the Kings of Baganda, Nagalabi which is also the coronation place for the kings of Buganda, Katereke prison ditch, craft shops and many more which are found in Uganda.

Uganda has also revived her glory as a prime safari destination which has encouraged many people to come for tours to Uganda. This can also be evidenced by the many safari goers who are increasing day by day. There is also the range of landscapes from the plains of Karamoja to the snow-capped mountains of Rwenzori, the beaches, wildlife species, water falls, and Kampala city which is also stunning especially at night.
